Michigan Jaycees, join us for the 2012 Local Officer Training School (LOTS)!

LOTS is an opportunity for local board members to learn more about how to be successful leaders in their local chapters.  In addition to spending time with your counterparts on the Michigan Jaycees Board, there will also be training sessions dedicated to the fundmentals that any Boar Members needs to know--recruiting chairpeople, learning about gaming & liquor state of Michigan paperwork, fine tuning your cpgs, prospect list management, and non verbal communication.

NOTS is an opportunity for new local board members, who have never served on a local board or those that need a refresher to learn about the basics of being a local chapter board member.  NOTS will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Lansing Community College from 5:00PM-9:00PM.  Registration at 5:00PM and Trainings begin at 6:00PM.  NOTS is a free training which is included as part of LOTS.

We are taking steps to being "green" in 2012.  We encourage you to bring laptops or other devices to take notes on, but ask that you use responsibly.

The Michigan Jaycees will have a block of rooms available at the Lexington Lansing Hotel, 925 South Creyts Road, Lansing, MI 48197.  Reservation phone number: 517-323-7100.  Room Block will be available starting Saturday, December 17th. Must be booked by 12/30 for Jaycee rate.
